Force India sets up young driver scheme

The Force India team has set up a new academy for young drivers, in the aim of nursing talent in India. Named the "hunt for one from a billion" the programme will begin this month with trials in seven cities across India, giving children aged between 14 and 17 the chance to drive a go-kart. The 14 quickest in each city will be chosen to compete in a grand finale at Silverstone, where they will undergo a programme which includes driver tuition, media training, and other activities.
