With all the tuning programs being added to the BMW 1-Series M Coupe, it seemed a little odd that AC Schnitzer - one of the best BMW tuners on the planet - still hadn’t come out with anything for the baby M. Turns out, they were just waiting for the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show to introduce their first project for the 1-Series M Coupe. While there doesn’t appear to be any performance improvements done on the car, AC Schnitzer’s package offers plenty of visual enhancements, as well as new suspension and brake set-ups.
Visually speaking, the package offers aerodynamic upgrades that include a new front lip, a new rear diffuser, a roof spoiler, a chromed front grille, and a new set of light alloy wheels that can be had in a variety of sizes and designs. Inside the car, AC Schnitzer also added plenty of new details consisting of a leather gear shift cover, an illuminated leather gear knob with a digital display, an aluminum "Black Line" gear knob, an aluminum handbrake handle, pedal set, foot rest, and velour floor mats.
