In the event of your accident or decrease of the car after only that limit, you'll get compensation for all the damage or loss belonging to the insurance company. If you have had crossed that distance limit, then you? become ineligible for almost any insurance cover.

If you will be driving? within city limits and never in the addiction of traveling substantially, you will end up being benefited with constrained mileage insurance. Buy limited mileage insurance and will also be covered for years at a stretch. You do not need to buy insurance on your vehicle every time. If you commute five cars, you will find yourself benefited more through mileage-based insurance. In multiple auto insurance, you will have to afford all cars. If you happen to drive 4000 miles annually with one car or truck, you will drive a similar in five automobiles. So you can keep your premium amount by simply buying limited miles insurance.

Bianchi blames handling for grid slot

Jules Bianchi has revealed that his lowly grid position for the first GP2 race of the weekend at Monza was down to a surprising change in the handling of his car from free practice to qualifying. The Frenchman sits just one point behind Giedo van der Garde in the battle for second in the championship heading into this weekend, but he was unable to capitalise on the Dutchman's poor session and will instead line up alongside him on the 10th row of the grid.

Report: UAW seeking record $10,000 signing bonuses for each member

There was a time when union contract negotiations centered around increased hourly wages and top benefits. Bloomberg reports that the United Auto Workers may be willing to forgo raises in favor of lump-sum payments tied to hitting profitability and productivity targets.

To help sell such a deal to the UAW rank and file, Bloomberg reports that the union could seek signing bonuses of $8,000 to $10,000 per member. On the high end, that's over three times the $3,000 Ford, General Motors and Chrysler union employees received in 2007 when they ratified their current contracts.

Signing bonuses of $10,000 per union worker would cost GM $470 million, Ford $410 million and Chrysler $250 million. Bloomberg reports that, on the automakers side of the negotiating table, "there may be resistance to such a large payout." A UAW spokesperson went on the record to say that talk of the union asking for the larger signing bonuses is "inaccurate and it creates false expectations."

The current UAW contract with the Detroit automakers expires September 14.

Da Costa wins thrilling season finale

Antonio Felix da Costa won a dramatic GP3 season finale at Monza on Sunday. The Status Grand Prix driver was in the lead train of cars throughout the race, in what turned out to be another classic slipstreaming affair. Da Costa made his decisive move for the lead on the penultimate lap, passing James Calado at the second chicane after the Briton had just come together with Mitch Evans at the start of the lap.

Just starting this kit and I think successfully removed the heavy plastic support and extra plastic tabs around the hood and hood opening.  Also need to remove the mold parting line on the rear of the quarter panel extending through the top and down the A pillar.

My fingernail sander finally gave out on me after about 20 years of service (great tool).  Unfortunately, I can't find another like it anywhere.  I prefer an oscillating sander to a dremel tool because I have never been able to control a dremel tool well.  It has a tendency to skip or walk due to the rotory action and often leaves gouges when i try to use one.  So I found a new oscillating sander at MicroMark and although it was a bit pricey, $80 with shipping, it works great and I have already used it on the 65 Pontiac build.

The color will be MCW yellow gold which won't look like the yellow on the kit box art but the color of the car in the magazine, a creamy, light yellow. Black hood decal , black interior and tight black bumble bee stripe on the rear of the car. Should be a much quicker build than the 65 Pontiac.  Thanks for looking!

Jenson Button produces Hungarian masterclass

On Saturday evening in Hungary, Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso were two of the luminaries who joined Jenson Button to celebrate the occasion of his 200th grand prix. Twenty-four hours later they stood either side of the McLaren driver as he celebrated another superb win in the tricky wet-dry conditions in which he excels.

Every one of Button's four wins since he joined McLaren at the start of last season has come in wet-dry races, conditions which reward the deftness of touch and exquisite feel for grip levels that the 31-year-old has displayed from the very beginning of his Formula 1 career.

"I'm always pretty lucky in these conditions," Button said in the news conference after the race, but it has absolutely nothing to do with good fortune. It is about skill and judgement.

It was a drive as perfect as the symmetry that saw him take his second win of the year at his 200th grand prix and at the same track where five years ago he finally took his first victory at the 113th attempt, also in mixed conditions.

Button has something of a sixth sense, a way of feeling the limits of what is possible in conditions where the track is damp but not soaking wet, that goes beyond that of nearly all his rivals, and he demonstrated it vividly again at the Hungaroring on Sunday.

Perhaps only Button's team-mate Lewis Hamilton has the same deftness and certainty of touch in rainy conditions - the younger McLaren man also has a clutch of brilliant wet wins on his CV. But even he was caught out by the tricky combination of a low-grip track surface and a sprinkling of mid-race rain.

It was not, though, Hamilton's lap 47 spin at the chicane that lost him the race, nor the decision five laps later, while disputing the lead with Button, to stop for intermediate tyres. By then, the writing was already on the wall.

No, the critical moment for Hamilton was his third stop on lap 40.

McLaren fitted another set of the super-soft tyres to Hamilton's car, while Red Bull - whose cars stopped on the laps immediately before and after him - fitted the harder prime tyre, the idea being to run it for the final 30 laps of the race. Button, who stopped two laps after Hamilton, did the same.

Of the front-runners, only Alonso did the same as Hamilton - and the Ferrari driver needed to gamble to try to clear the Red Bull of Mark Webber, which had been holding him up for much of the race.

Once that choice was made, Hamilton's only hope of winning was to use what should have been the extra grip of the softer tyre to quickly pull out enough of a lead to make the additional pit stop he was going to need, as the super-softs were never going to get him to the end of the race.

Instead, with rain starting to fall, Button started closing at about a second a lap. Who knows, perhaps that was what prompted Hamilton's spin. Perhaps, feeling the race slipping away, he was pushing just that little bit too hard.

The incident led to a diverting - and thoroughly entertaining - couple of laps as the two McLaren team-mates passed and re-passed each other, showing fantastic judgement and respect as they raced wheel to wheel for the lead.

But a diversion was all it was.

Up in the stewards room, they were about to hand Hamilton a drive-through penalty for forcing Force India driver Paul di Resta - producing yet another impressive drive - to take avoiding action as the McLaren spin-turned back into the race.

Meanwhile, out on the track, Hamilton, struggling with a radio problem that meant he could hear the team but they could not hear him, was called in to change to intermediate tyres, and he obeyed. Right behind him, Button got the same call, he revealed on the BBC post-race forum on the red button, but ignored it.

On that decision hung the victory. Had Button come in, he would have needed to stop again for dry tyres - as did Hamilton and Webber, who also changed to intermediates during the shower - and Vettel would have won the race.

As it was, the German took second place with a calm, mature, understated but effective drive that has made his grip on the championship even more vice-like than it already was.

Vettel has not won for three races now, and there is no doubt that Red Bull are slightly on the back foot, but still he left Hungary with a bigger championship lead than he had when he arrived.

Vettel is now 85 points ahead of second-placed Webber rather than 77, with Hamilton a further three points back, Alonso one behind the Englishman and Button 100 points, four clear wins, adrift in fifth.

Nevertheless, the man who has scored the most points in the last four races is Alonso, even if Vettel's impressive consistency means he has notched up only three points fewer despite not winning since Valencia at the end of June.

The Ferrari was genuinely fast again in Hungary, and Alonso had the pace to contest the lead battle had not a difficult opening lap led to a messy first half of the race stuck behind other cars.

Alonso did not help himself - he had to pass both Mercedes drivers twice because he made mistakes after overtaking them the first time and let them back in front. He then spent the second stint with Webber blocking his progress, before his tyre gamble got him some free air.

Had it not been for Webber's mistake in fitting intermediates and Hamilton's penalty, that strategy call would not have paid off, and Alonso would have ended the race still stuck down in fifth.

Nevertheless, Alonso, like the McLaren drivers, has sensed a shift in the balance of power and that is something all the protagonists will be pondering in the three-week summer break before the Belgian Grand Prix.

"The second part of the championship should be good for us," Alonso said. "Spa, with medium- and high-speed corners, should suit the team, and then Monza is our home race."

Red Bull, it is clear, are vulnerable in the races, and wins are there for the taking. But unless some kind of disaster befalls Vettel - or all his rivals start finishing ahead of him all the time, rather than just the odd one or two - the championship is already gone.

Ferrari boss against all-electric F1 cars

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo thinks it would be wrong for Formula 1 to head down an all-electric route - as he believes the sport must remain at the cutting edge of technology and speed. Although electric racing activities look set to increase over the next few years, di Montezemolo reckons there are elements of F1 that means it would not be the show it is now if it should also go down that route. "For me F1 is extreme performance, sport, and innovative technology in terms of performance," he told reporters at the Italian Grand Prix.

Another Defence of Indy Fails To Make A Case

Bob Kravitz, writing in the Indy Star in defence of the Indianapolis MotoGP Course: Was the track slippery? Yes. That happens when a track gets repaved. Adjust and move on. Does the track lack the challenges these riders see on other tracks throughout the world? Absolutely. They often run on picturesque tracks, weaving through the [...]

Alonso the new favourite

Fernando Alonso is the new favourite for the title © Getty Images
Fernando Alonso is the new favourite to win the Formula One drivers? title, said David Coulthard in his column for The Telegraph.
?He is the man with the momentum and, on the same basis that I backed Mark Webber to win the title before Korea, is now my favourite to claim the world title in Abu Dhabi on Nov 14. ?When the cars are so evenly-matched you have to back the man in possession. Especially when that man is a two-time world champion and arguably the finest driver of his generation.?
The Mirror?s Byron Young drew comparisons between Alonso and seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher as the Spaniard bids to become the sport?s youngest ever triple world champion.
?Like Schumacher, Alonso accepts no opposition within his team. Ultimately he fell out with McLaren over their refusal in 2007 to bring Lewis Hamilton to heel. ?He returned to Renault on condition he was No.1, only to be at the centre of the Singapore cheat scandal - engineered to hand him victory. ?The Spaniard has always denied involvement but at the German GP in July he was brazen enough to radio Ferrari to rein in team-mate Felipe Massa so he could start the winning streak that has taken him to the brink of history.?

Nine wannabe winners

That was another fabulous race in Hungary, with the top three teams fighting for the win but in every Formula 1 race there are 12 teams and 24 drivers.

I've been taking a look at how some of the smaller teams like Force India and Sauber are faring at the mid-way point of the 2011 season, as well as picking the nine drivers who have impressed me most so far.

Official: Eterniti Motors Hemera SUV promises 620 hp, limousine-like cabin

Yes, its resemblance to the Porsche Cayenne may be cunning, but what you're looking at here is the "world's first Super-SUV," created by British carmaker Eterniti Motors. It's bulgy and aggressive-looking, but we just can't shake the fact that this is clearly a Cayenne ripoff. Still, we like the Cayenne, so how bad the Eterniti creation be?

Called the Hemera, the Eterniti Motors sport-ute will allegedly go into production at the end of 2012. It will be hand-built in London, and will feature amenities like power rear reclining seats, iPads and a drink chiller for rear passengers - part of what Eterniti calls the Hemera's "limousine-like" cabin. Powertrain details are unknown as of this writing, but Eterniti states that the Hemera will produce 620 horsepower, have four-wheel drive and will reach a top speed of over 180 miles per hour.

We'll get the full story on the Hemera next week at the Frankfurt Motor Show. In the meantime, hit the jump for Eterniti's press release, and be sure to check out the Hemera from a few angles in our attached high-res image gallery.

BMW Working to Bring Lasers to Your Headlights, Because LEDs are Just So Audi

Perhaps because BMW’s rival Audi?s design strategy is based around LED lighting, or maybe because even the lowly 2012 Kia Soul sports the bright eyes, the Munich-based, propellor-clad automaker wants to develop and own the next big thing in headlight technology: lasers. Yamaha 1000cc Test At Misano: Too Much Horsepower For A Tight Track

The factory Yamaha team concluded a 1-day test at Misano on Monday, taking the 2012 Yamaha MotoGP machine out for the second time, after an earlier test at Brno. The test had originally been planned as a public test together with Honda and Ducati, but Ducati withdrew from the Misano test in July, and Honda pulled out shortly after the Brno test, both factories saying that they had nothing to test. As a result, the test morphed into a private test, leaving a small band of journalists to twiddle their thumbs in the press room, with no access to times and no access to the pit lane.

As a result, we have only the times released by the factory to go by, and with Jorge Lorenzo posting a 1'33.7 and Ben Spies posting a 1'34.3, both men were a couple of tenths quicker on the 1000cc bike on Monday than they were during the race on the 800s a day earlier. The difference with Brno was mainly down to the difference in the tracks: Brno is a big horsepower circuit with plenty of places where the added grunt can come into play. Misano is much tighter, with a lot of low-gear corners exiting onto the straights, meaning that neither the 800 nor the 1000 could use their horsepower to full effect. As a consequence, the extra mid-range of the 1000 largely went to waste. Even from the press room, sat above Misano's front straight, it was clear the 1000s were struggling to get the power down, the bikes wanting to wheelie all along the pit straight.
